About FloorEver ETX

FloorEver ETX was founded by Patrick and Kerry Shelley with a simple mission: to deliver durable, beautiful, and professionally installed epoxy floor coatings across East Texas.

We are a husband and wife team based in the Lindale / Tyler area. What started as a desire to build something of our own has grown into a business centered on quality workmanship, honest communication, and treating every customer’s space as if it were our own.

We specialize in residential garages, commercial spaces, and high-use areas such as dog kennels. Every project is approached with careful preparation, premium materials, and attention to detail so the finished floor not only looks great but stands up to real-world use.

Patrick’s Experience

Patrick brings more than 15 years of professional experience in the construction and materials testing industry to every FloorEver ETX project.

He worked as a Special Inspector in Civil Engineering, specializing in concrete and reinforcing steel (rebar). In that role he was responsible for verifying that structural concrete work met strict industry standards - experience that gives him a deep understanding of how concrete behaves, how it should be prepared, and what is required for long-term performance.

Patrick is ICC certified in reinforced concrete and completed specialized training that included structural epoxy applications. This background in both inspection and structural materials gives him a strong technical foundation when preparing surfaces and installing high-performance floor coating systems.

In addition to his inspection career, Patrick has extensive hands-on experience with precise, multi-step restoration work. He completed a full frame-off restoration of a classic 1980 Chevrolet truck, a project that demanded careful surface preparation, problem-solving, and a commitment to finishing every detail correctly. He has also worked in water and fire damage restoration, which required thorough assessment of damaged materials and durable repairs.

These experiences translate directly to epoxy flooring, where proper surface preparation and attention to detail determine the success of the final coating. Patrick has completed professional training in modern epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating systems and continues to refine his skills with each installation.

Whether the project is a residential garage, a commercial space, or a high-use area such as a dog kennel, Patrick approaches the work methodically, with a focus on correct preparation, quality materials, and a clean, lasting finish.
